Can someone let me know the dimensions of your second seat for the inline strollers, specifically the height of the back? I measured mine from where the seat and the back meets to the top and mine measures 19 inches. Im asking because my almost 24 mon old is 24 lbs, 37 inches long and her head is already past the top of the seat. I dont consider her super duper tall for her age at all. All the pictures I've seen in their Facebook page doesnt, show the toddler's head past the seat unless they are much older of course.
Re: Phil and Teds owners
I don't have our stroller inside to check but 37" seems really tall to me for a 2 year old. My oldest was 32 1/4" at 24 months and she's almost 31 months now and just hit 34" but that's around the 10th %ile I believe.
I can't remember how big she is compared to the lower seat, she likes to sit down there, but mostly because it's easy for her to get in and out (I let her walk and then she can hop down there when she gets tired). I'll try and check it out for you next time we go for a walk!
Oh okay. Well my older DD is also 34" tall and fits just fine in the lower seat. She was in it tonight. Her head is a bit above the back but she usually slouches down because she likes to stretch her legs out and relax. Lol!
I will add on a Phil & Teds you actually want the LIGHTER kid in the back. It'll tip over if you put the heavier one down there. It doesn't matter as much when they get closer in weight (my girls are about 6lbs. apart now but when they were like 10+lbs apart in size it would tip if I put DD1 below and DD2 up top). DD2 rode down below from about 5 months to around 11 months I want to say when she finally weighed enough for DD1 to sit behind her without it tipping.
