Initials- spelling out name

I had a Great Uncle who recently passed, he was born in the 30's. His parents named him Carl.  His full name was Carl Allen Roger L****  His initials spell Carl.

I always got a chuckle out of how clever my great grandparents were.  Anyone do this with their LO, or know someone who did?

I know a girl named Samantha Alice McLastname. She goes by Sam- her initials spell Sam too. I think it's super cute.

I think it would be tricky to pull off, thats for sure. I can't imagine I would ever seek out a name to do it. I still think its pretty neat my gg parents did it. Can you imagine their parents reaction...probably like "wtf..." lol

My brother has always said he wanted to name his son John Eldon D------( after our grandfathers) and call him Jed. Who knows if his future wife will ever agree! Jeb Bush (George W.s brother) went by his initials.

Yep. My name (with my maiden name) was Megan Elizabeth G-. My parents always thought they were so clever. Now my initials are MED...not as fun

I had a teacher who was called by her initials, PAM. Her name was Patricia Ann M___.

I know someone with a baby named Mark (the father is also Mark) and his intitials spell M.A.R.K.

Kinda. My FI's name is Daniel and the common nickname is Dan (although he never goes by Dan). His initials are D.A.N.
