separation?

Hi everyone...  I had an emergency c-section and my incision has come open a bit!  (They used dermabond.)  The doc said it was fine, just watch it for signs of infection.  It doesn't hurt.  Does anyone have experience with this?  Thanks!

My incision opened, and my recovery has been tough.  Mine got infected, and had to be packed with gauze every day for almost 2 weeks.  Then, a few days after I healed back up, it opened again.  Luckily no infection this time, just have to be very diligent in keeping it cleaned and covere.d

I was stapled and it reopened around 2 weeks and had to be packed for weeks. Just take care of it as they say and check for infection. Just because mine needed to be packed doeen't mean yours does.

My incision did that with my 2nd and 3rd sections. Only in spots though, not totally open. I just went to the drug store and bought some steri stips. Used them for a while just for peace of mind. Everything turned out fine.
