SO monitors, good non-video monitor recs

Not sure if we'll splurge on a video monitor for DD#3, since we've had non-video thus far, but ours is broken nonetheless, so any recommendations would be great.  We had a Graco one that vibrated, and it was ok, but I wasn't in love with it.  And it broke.  Boo.

    I really like our Sony Baby Call monitor. It still works perfectly after 16 months of constant use, the signal travels from the top floor all the way down to our basement, and you can set it to different channels if you have problems with interference. I have no complaints about it.

    We have a video monitor at home, but use the Sony Baby Call when we travel and it is great! We've never had issues with interference, it holds a charge really well too.
