last day at work

Today is my last day in the office until after my maternity leave. I thought Id be super excited to not have to set foot in the office again until April/May, but Im kind of getting freaked out about it...I think knowing that I wont be back to work anytime soon gave my yet another wow-this-baby-is-almost-here reality check.

Anyone else?

I felt much the same way. Leaving work officially made it real for me because I knew I was transitioning from one life to another. I still plan on going back to my job but know my life is going to change dramatically!

Congratulations!!

Packing up my classroom last Friday was a bit surreal....though I'm sitting here today at home grading papers, etc.  I'm supposed to go back for the first week of January before my leave actually starts.  I'm giddy just thinking about that day.

I am sad and giddy. Last day in the office was yesterday and I had to move cubes as I will be starting a new position when I got back, so extra weird. But SO relieved for the upcoming time off.  I am torn between wanting this baby born ASAP and wanting another week to rest up and be a bum.

I left everything as though I'm not going back until April, but in reality I do have to go back January3rd if baby doesn't make an early appearance.  I am kind of thinking this is it though...
