12" of snow, but no snow day

I didn't even know we were getting this big storm until yesterday when DH mentioned the forecast. Depending on the news channel you watch, we've gotten anywhere from 10 to 13" so far. Yet, DH's office is only on a 1 hr delay. I guess that means they've done a good job clearing the roads, but I really wish DH didn't have to go out in this.

That is crazy that the office is still open!  Is working from home an option?  I hope he gets to and from safely!!  You and your little one stay safe inside.

No, working from home isn't an option, I wish he could! He just called a few min ago to tell me the highway wasn't too bad and to stop worrying.

Glad the roads aren't too bad for him.  I don't want your snow though.  We never get snow days at work, and I don't want to drive in that stuff.

I'm happy he made it to work, but I will definitely have to agree with P - send the snow to her house.  I don't want it.  ;-)

I live in New England & it's 59 degrees outside right now, on the 1st day of winter.  Watch us get a blizzard on January 1st, just because I'm going on vacation & it'll eff up our flight out of here!
