Anyone have a Foodsaver I could borrow?

My brother has requested that I make him beef jerky for Christmas so he can take it back with him (he's in the Navy) to snack on for the next few months. I'd really like to vacuum seal it so that it stays fresh. If anyone has one that I could borrow, I would be forever grateful! I'll buy the bags and whatever disposable things I need - if I could just use the machine part of yours that would be great.

I don't but I was wanting one.  I saw one of these in HEB a few months ago and thought I would give it a try first.  It works great! No complaints and a lot less money.
