2-3x/year is considered NOT a baker?! Ohshit. What do you consider someone who doesn't bake at all? LOL I don't bake.
Joe has made brownies with the kids a couple of times. Other than that, they will have to add "no baking with parents" to the list of things to discuss in therapy!
I would say that on average, I bake weekly. I always volunteer to bake for school things, ballet bake sales, etc. And if I don't bake something, then I will make homemade ice cream or pudding, etc. for home. My mom has always been/still is a big baker too. She definitely bakes weekly.
Not often. If I bake cookies and breads and stuff I just eat it. I have no control, so it's easier just not to bake much at all.
I made a bunch of zucchini bread and muffins over the summer when I was overloaded with zucchini from the garden. I haven't baked since then. I've been trying to get motivated to bake cookies with the kids this week but I really just don't feel like bothering.
I'm not a baker, I like to and am better at cooking than baking. So, I really only bake for holidays and then only if I can't convince someone to do it for me. I cannot have that stuff in the house either. But, if I was a good wife I would make some ruggelach for my DH for his bday today. Maybe this weekend.
I would like to bake weekly if I had someone other than us to eat what I make. And if I had more time. I'll usually make a special dessert for Sunday supper and I like to keep homemade cookie dough in the freezer to bake a few cookies for the kids throughout the week, but there are weeks where I don't bake anything.
I would say less often than a few times a month but more than a few times a year. During the holidays, starting with Halloween, the kids and I bake a lot. Not so much during the summer, when it's too hot to run the stove, but I will bake a chocolate pie every once in a while, and for most birthdays. Last spring, I was really into cake pops. So, maybe more often than 1-2x a month, but sort of clustered in the last 3 months of the year.
But after the orgy of baking for the kids' birthdays and my Christmas party and the cinnamon rolls that DH wants for Christmas, I may never bake again. I am tired.

I don't necessarily bake with my kids! I prefer to do it when Sara is stuck in front of a movie during K's nap when C is at school.
