I can't find any information on what is considered 'normal' for this, but at my 16 wk appt yesterday, my dr. measured my fundal height and told me I'm measuring 25cm, or 25 weeks. Anyone know what is typical for 16 weeks with twins? Heartbeats were 135 and 149. My next u/s isn't for 4 weeks...
Re: 16wks pregnant with twins, measuring 25 weeks...
From what I've read in the book by Dr. Luke fundal height is about 4-8 weeks ahead of singletons. That is what I have been measuring as well. Yesterday I measured at 36 wks, which is 8 wks ahead. Sounds like you're right on track with nice heartbeats.
I should say that with a singleton, those measurements can change and vary based on baby position. My fundal heights with my singletons varied based on which way they were laying during that appointment - head one time, behind another, right on at another.
Thanks for all of the responses - I feel better now. Not sure why I was stressing, but I have to laugh.... I forgot that I posted the question. I was reading posts this morning and clicked on my own - not realizing I was the original poster yesterday. Ugh.... I blame it on holiday stress.
Thanks ladies!
