Test Results Messed up!

Nov 21 I went to see my ob to get cleared and say that everything looked fine. That day she gave me some of the results back. One of the results they got back stated how much the baby weighed, how tall and that it was a male.

Today Dec 21 a month to the day I called the high risk dr office to talk to the guy who does the gentics to see if those have come in. He tells me that there apears to be nothing wrong. Shows 46 normal and X X.

Wait a sec last time I checked how are you going to tell me in 1st report its a male than this testing its a girl??? Last time I checked I didnt carry a "Y". So now not sure whats going on. I feel like I just got my gut punched. One min its a boy, now its a girl now its a ugh lets wait an see I need to talk to the Dr. Maybe the test picked up my tissue only and they couldnt do anything for the baby.

I feel at a lost. Did we have a boy or a girl? We named the baby but what if it turns out its a girl than what? Baby is to get burried Jan 27 ( I know its a few months have have the baby but once every 3 months the hospital pays for a casket and plot and burries all the babies that have past before birth or just after birth in this special area at a cemetary if the parent wish.) What am I to do? I want answers!!!

I can't imagine how hard this must be for you. I would demand an in person meeting and see the results yourself. I would also be calling both docs and telling them what the other doctor has said and ask them to figure it out between them and give you accurate information.

My Ob Dr is in the hospital today with surgery today. I have an apt with both of them on th 5th. (granted this apt was made 2 weeks ago) But I dont get this!!!
