Maybe I should start paying more attention to what she is doing at school! LOL I got the mail yesterday and there was a letter in there from her school (she's in the PreK room at Daycare). The letter was actually from Alyssa, it was a picture she had drawn and on it she had written "Merry Christmas Mommy! I love you. Love, Alyssa". Um, I had no idea that she knew how to write so well. She even used upper and lower case letters and used them correctly. I asked her teacher and she said that she only helped her a little with the spelling but Alyssa did it mostly on her own. I'm so proud and loving for the first time ever seeing Alyssa write "I love you".

Sweet!  I would frame that letter for sure.
