Supplementing with 1 formula bottle

Apologize if this has been discussed before, just so much to go through! Anyway, I have been breastfeeding/pumping for 6 months on this coming Saturday. My supply just seems to be dwindling and am barely keeping up. I've tried everything but it seems like I'm going to have to start supplementing at least one formula bottle per day while I'm at work. My question is for anyone who has experienced this. How have you introduced formula? How has your LO taken to it? Did it seem to bother their tummies at all? I'm pretty discouraged by this but the more I stress about being able to keep up day to day, the less milk I'm producing! Thank you so much in advance

I went through this and I just had DC give her formula for one bottle a day. That bottle was always her first while there, no reason behind that, that is just what we decided. She took to it fine and we didn't have any issues.

I was wondering the same things. Plus, if you're not keeping up pumping while at work, are you able to nurse for that session on the weekends?

We recently started to intro a little formula because when i go back to work LO will have some formula during the day. I started out by doing 1oz of formula 4oz breastmilk all in one bottle. When he responded fine to that, I upped it to 2oz, so on and so forth. I have no given him a full bottle of formula yet, I still mix at least 1oz BM in there but later this week I will give him a full one. No issues at all.

I was told to start supplementing at two weeks.  I just nursed and then offered two ounces of formula.  He had no problems with it.  Now my milk production is good and I supplement one bottle a few times a week and he does fine with it.  He does have tummy issues (reflux and gas) but that started before the formula.
