im am freking out im waiting for a nurse to call me back, i am currently 7 weeks pregnant and i went to the bathroom and when i wipped it was bright red!! help has this happened to anyone?
I have never had a miscarriage so I can't comment on that- however with that said, some reasurance is, I have read and personally had happen to me- I bled a TOn with my first- it was bright blood and I always went to the ER. He was bron fine- turned out I had a soft cervix but my son turned out fine! You will have to se a dr or go to the hospital or have a ultrasound. They will have to run numbers and confirm with an ultrasound. However, I have seen horrible bright blood situations that turn out to be nothing.
I just had this last Monday night but I passed a small clot as well. I called Tuesday morning. Everything was fine, baby is growing and heartrate was up from the previous week. I had a SCH (sub chorionic hematoma). Doctor said they are common.
thanks so much for your response i am really freking out , i know i have to relax!! uggg i have tomorrow my first appointment with my OB.. so i am praying this is normal..
I did at 7 weeks with my first. Everything turned out fine. The doctor told me sometimes you'll bleed a bit when the placenta is attaching and burrying in.
This happened to me at 12 weeks. I went to the bathroom early in the am and had bright red blood noted, then later in the day it was brownish. I thought the worst as well.
We went for an ultrasound and that little munchkin was moving around like crazy healthy as can be.
It is quite common to have implantation bleeding as well when the placenta implants itself around this time. This was the case with me.
I bled bright red from about 8 weeks to 15 weeks. It wasn't constant, but when it happened was a gush of red, and would stop within about 20 min.
The last few times it happened it was worse than any period I ever had. One of the times, had to just sit on the toilet b/c it would not stop.
After weekly trips to the OB, and weekly u/s it turns out I had a polyp on my cervix that would fill and bleed. Each time bleeding more than the previous. It was horrible and scary, but turns out there was never a threat to the baby b/c of it. Was missed on the first few internal exams, b/c it was just barely out of sight for a while.
If you are not cramping that is a GREAT sign. I never had the slightest bit of cramping which always gave my OB hope it was not anything too serious.
thank so much to everyone that has commented this makes me feel soo much better, i have not seen any blood since i wiped the first time..so all smiles . i have my first Doctors visit with my OB tomorrow first thing in the morning!
I think its good you havent seen continuous bright red blood. When I MC, I felt a stomach ache for 4-5 days, then had bright red blood, but it was continuos and changed to brown and black. within 24 hours of the bright red blood, I passed everything.
Theres a very good chance its absolutely nothing as alot of people just bleed and are fine.. Keep us posted!
