3. I overslept this morning. Actually I kept waking and was having such a vivid dream that I wanted to know how it ended...so I kept going back to sleep. I nee to call my friend and tell her I dreamed she was selling multi-million dollar waterfront property and that she was marrying some man b/c he was "kinky." LOL.
4. I really would love to go to the R Family thing that CT posted. I just can't justify that amount of money. Especially since we really need to take that week of vacation between the end of camp and the beginning of school.
5. Speaking of camps, I have started looking for camps for this summer. It is hard to know which camp the kids would like more..and then pray we get in. Plus the cost. Sigh.
6. I bought blueberry scones with vanilla glaze on them from Trader Joes last night. I should not have brought the whole package to work today. DANGEROUS. I have eaten 3 of them. Oops.
7. I am kinda bummed I am not going to the kids' holiday party. I should have arranged my schedule to go.
8. I love Christmas on a weekend. Multiple 4 day work weeks. Plus I am taking this Friday off and I was off last Monday. 4 four day work weeks in a row! Why do the weeks still seem long?
9. I need a vacation.Change of scenery. Change of pace. Too bad my credit card needs to be paid down first.
1. I'm also bummed about the price of that camp. would have been so much fun!
2. on the upside, i found a rental i really like for family week (ptown). just hoping its still available.
3. Two - i loved your card, and i cant believe you got K to get in on the pic with santa!

10. DW and I have to do the preschool open house rounds next month and cross our fingers that RB gets into one.
1. I am a donut addict. I never ate a donut in my life until a month ago and now I am addicted. I *had* lost all of my baby weight but (sheepsihly) I have gained a few pounds.. but they are so good!
2. 15 of us went to a hibachi dinner last night for my sisters birthday and strangely enough, the chef sexually harassed all the women at the table. Ever stranger, after a few very awkward moments, they all accepted it and played along! ?? K and I (and the men) were appalled and aghast but they (the women) took the saki shots ( bj style) like 18 y.o. spring breakers. It was.. weird? unsettling? hilarious? After (we left early - waaayyy to many chanting/shouting/standing/pounding saki bombs.. N's eyes were as wide as saucers and we needed to get to the quiet, dark car to decompress) the chef was this quiet, polite guy who wanted to meet N. errr.. I guess I am glad they played along?
3. N gets his 2 month vaccinations today and I am terrified. I already chewed my nails clean off this morning reading about them. He is only getting one shot today, we are doing them one at a time, but I am sick over it. Any advice on how to make the recovery better? I read I should BF immediately.. anything else?
4. We bought N waaayy to many gifts for Christmas. I was wrapping them thinking.. this is silly. He is 2 months old! But in our defense, his birthday isn't until October so he needs toys to grow into and the cyber monday sales were too good to pass up. Still... it feels overindulgent.
5. I made K a shutterfly book of N's first 2 months and started it off with a picture of our positive pregnancy test. It still makes me cry, looking at it. After 15 failed months, I was beginning to think it would never happen and now.. he melts my heart all day long.
6. I have to do more shopping but I am feeling lazy and don't really want to leave the house.
7. Anyone want to come over and wrap for me?
8. We are having a hard time deciding on Ptown vacation this year. We are stuck between family week and the week prior. We had the best ptown vacation ever last year, the week before family week. (or 2 weeks before? July 23rd) it was so quiet and the weather was wonderful.. I don't know if we should pass it up for the chaos of family week.. but it would be so nice to see more families..and see some bumpies!
9. I am going to make peppermint bark today for K's teacher friends. Any advice?
10. I have baby fever. I love how much my heart has grown with the birth of N. I love how much I love him and I can't wait to meet the next member of our family and love even more. It is the most overwhelmingly beautiful feeling in the world.
1. I love this time of year but it so SO BUSY! I haven't had time to bump!
2. I'm on CD41. WHT? Apparently I had an anovulatory (sp) cycle. What a waste of $850.
3. I cannot, for the life of me, find an ornament for my pick! I love this bumpie, and I just can't find anything good enough! I'm running out of time!!
4. I hosted our work party this past weekend and it went really well. I ran a little late though, and didn't have time to take pics. So sad! It was beautiful.
5. I just had dental work done (still numb) and I keep biting my cheek. Ouch!
6. Um...how do I get to CD1 without a script? This has never happened to me before (to my knowledge).
7. I stopped no 'pooing. So... I'm 'pooing? lol I think the vinegar was stripping my hair color out. And K was making so much fun of me! Now I think I'll just look for a more natural/safe shampoo & conditioner.
8. We had my family Christmas this past weekend. My favorite gift I received was a HarryPotter cook book!! Now I MUST have an HP party I'm a dork.
9. My favorite gift that we gave was $ for my dad to buy bread for his churches good bank. He was so happy!
10. Actually, that was a tie between my dad and my niece. She's 26 months and we got her a bike helmet. She pranced around the house with it on, so cool!
1. Happy Hannakuh (tuck that away for sundown!) to all who celebrate.
2. I have off on Friday, Monday, next Friday, and the following Monday... which means a four-day work week, a four-day weekend, a three-day work week, a four-day weekend, a four-day work week!! A girl could get used to that!!
3. Which means that the week of January 9 - 13 is going to be LONG!
4. You'd think the short week would inspire me to be super productive. But no... I'm having the worst time concentrating!
5. Christmas in 5 days! Can't wait!
6. Friday the 30th, Trav and I are dropping Gwen at daycare for a few hours and heading out for lunch and a movie. Can't wait for our little daytime date.
7. The following Monday I will be off from work and home all alone! I can't remember the last time I had a full day all to myself. I can't wait! What would you do with a full day all alone? I'm definitely sleeping in and maybe taking a bath, but otherwise, I'm not sure! (The freedom is a little intoxicating. )
8. Gwen and Trav are home today... though he may drop her off at daycare for a few hours to take a nap (both of them)! Lol. I hope they have fun.
9. He's buying a pork shoulder so we can make pulled pork in the crock pot... Mmmm...
10. I can't wait for my elfster package!
Maybe I don't have a heightened sense of smell, but I've never smelled any vagina on my pants. -- TSD
C and I continue to mis-communicate...it is driving both of us crazy.
I was so sad last night when C didn't remember that she had agreed that we (she, I and the Kiddos) were going to have our family Christmas at New Years. She said it was only my idea ::sigh::
I was even more saddened when I asked when we were going to assemble the Kiddos Christmas presents (they are getting coupes) and she REALISTICALLY told me that we don't have enough space. Thank God we also bought them a kitchen.
We need a bigger house, a second car, and the ability to communicate more effectively.
Can you tell I am bummed today? I am overly stressed and wish I could have a spa day.
Though I will miss C and the Kiddos, I am happy that I will be with my Mom at Christmas. After my TIA my attitude on life changed and seeing my Mom age and battle health problems has me scared.
If you asked me what I like best about myself I would say my heart. I don't know if that will be the same if something happened to my Mom.
As C puts things, it's not only that I don't forget (perceived) transgressions, I don't forgive them either. Anyone who ever hurt, used, demeaned, etc. my Mom may not like me too much.
Wow, this has really turned into a dark TTT for me.
I better just focus on the Kiddos...they are such a joy.
1. Jen's company has leftover tickets for their holiday party tonight (catered box at an NHL game), but spouses weren't invited initially so we had already planned for me to be home for the dogsitter pick-up and packing for the trip. Boo.
2. We are flying through Chicago on the way to and from my parents'. I will not be sad if Chicago get lots of snow and we have to stay and hang out for a few extra days.
3. I scheduled our flights at very reasonable times to make it easiest on Jen, and now I'm wondering why I don't always do that? Don't I want to make it easiest on me too?
4. I had a meeting scheduled this morning for earlier than I usually get in, and spent my last two hours of sleep dreaming that I was late, waking up to check the clock, etc. Then the meeting was totally unproductive. Grr.
5. Jen and I exchanged our gifts last night. She bought me a print from an artist I have admired at our nearby farmer's market for the last seven years. It makes me really happy
6. There are so many things I don't know about 2012. Where we will be this time next year? Physically, emotionally, careerily - I just have no idea.
7. People keep trying to get me to see War Horse. I don't like horses. Or wars.
8. I want some Williams-Sonoma peppermint bark. But like, two pieces. Not a giant tin of it. W-S, take note.
9. I need to pick my half-marathons for next year and register.
10. Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree is an excellent song.
1. We've decided not to pack anything except for the really small and breakable items, we are just going to shove everything in the moving truck since it's such a short move.
2. J told me she doesn't want the bonus room off the back of the garage for her man cave so I am going to take it and make it into a craft/play room for myself and the kids.
3. Vent: It's annoying when DW goes to bed before me, wakes up after me, calls from work to say she is bored because it's slow, then comes home and tells me that she is sooooo tired and needs to sleep. Hello... I've had 1-2 children attached to me all day while I attempt to clean the house, fix meals, do laundry, and play with the kids, I go to sleep later, wake up to soothe a fussy baby throughout the night, wake up early with the baby so she (J) can get some sort of decent sleep and don't get to nap EVER. This isn't to say she doesn't help, she just gets more breaks and rest than I do.
4. I took apart our 14ft trampoline by myself yesterday, I rock!
5. Owl is starting to talk, she's hard to understand but she is trying.
6. I haven't no poo'd in almost a week and finally need to today. My head isn't itchy or flaky anymore, I am loving this.
7. We are going to get a mini pot bellied pig (they're around 600lbs full grown) when we move into the new house! I hope it's a girl so I can name her Barbara.
8. We have names picked out for Owl and Apple, I really hope we are able to adopt them. I will share the names if anyone is interested.
9. A wants a tire swing at the new house, there is a huge avocado tree perfect for a tire swing but I don't know how we would get up the tree to hang it.
10. I have visions of thrift store furniture and a rainbow of spray paint colors in my head, I am ready to decorate the new house.
1. We did insemination number 1 of round 3 today. We had two big fat follies...please let one of them fertilize and stick.
2. DW and I were both raised catholic so when we went to the National Shrine the other day we lit a candle in the chapel of the immaculate conception praying for this to be the one.
3. Dw is loafing around and hopefully fertilizing. She got really strong ovulation cramps about an hour after IUI...keeping fingers crossed.
4. We have so much to do between now and xmas. I figures this turns out to be an insem week.
5. I was so excited that the ornaments for butteryfly and her family arrived in one piece.
6. We are going out with friends to dinner on friday for a xmas get together and I am super excited.
7. My inlaws arrive xmas night...I am not super excited lol.
8. I am soooooo excited to start school in three weeks. I have been dreaming about becoming a social worker and it is so exciting that it is going to become a reality.
9. Because of number 8 we are going to have to buy a second car this summer. Uggg another car payment although I am really considering leasing to keep the payment lower. I am really leaning towards a Hyundai Tuscon.

10. I have baby fever. I love how much my heart has grown with the birth of N. I love how much I love him and I can't wait to meet the next member of our family and love even more. It is the most overwhelmingly beautiful feeling in the world.
BONE DRY bowls. Especially for white chocolate. My pastry chef friend gets his bowls out the night before, and lays them on top of the radiator to be bone dry. Smoothest, non-grainy bark.
If you end up stuck in Chicago--Call me! I miss our Chicago neighborhood, this time of year.
8. We have names picked out for Owl and Apple, I really hope we are able to adopt them. I will share the names if anyone is interested.

3. Our home office is sooo cold. I need to buy a space heater.
4. Must. finish. resume. first.
5. I just agreed to Christmas Day visit with Pumpkin and his mom at her church. This is either one of the coolest or stupidest things I've ever agreed to.
6. I have only been a foster parent 7 weeks now and have whole list of fixable problems people should solve. So frustrating
7. I am so glad that L was home with Pumpkin for 6 weeks before I lost my job. Last night she came home and said, "Wow--you did some dishes AND a load of laundry AND made dinner!?! You're amazing." I think that perspective will truly help our marriage during this time.
8. Nearly "Finished" wrapping last night. I only have a few small "nook nooks" left to buy/wrap.
9. I/We are loving the cloth diapers. Haven't had the best luck with pre-folds though.
One of our friends had her daughter in Thanksgiving at 29 weeks. They named her Adelaide and call her "Addie". She is so cute! I love that name.
Thank you! My Grandma's middle name is Adelaide and I wanted to honor her by naming one of my kids after her (she raised my brother, sister, and I for 2 years). I plan to use the nickname Addie as well.
1. I missed the weekend post yesterday, in fact I didn't bump at all yesterday. Boo.
2. I was too busy reading, signing, scanning, emailing documents for an offer on a house. Oh yeah, and totally freaking out, can I do this by myself???
3. My realtor friend took me to some homes on Sunday and this house is just amazing.
4. More space than I imagined I could afford, but it's a short sale and the price is what I'd pay for something smaller. And maybe, someday I'll meet that special lady who will help me fill up that space.
5. Oh yeah, and the new job closer to home is moving ahead. I have a meeting this afternoon to begin talking about it.
6. Can you say holy bundle of nerves??? Keep your fingers crossed and send me all your good luck vibes.
7. I sooooo want to tell E about it, but I want to wait to make sure the deal is going through. It needs to go through a 60 day approval process with the current lender and I am waiting until it feels more sound to tell her.
8. There is a play structure with a slide and swing in the backyard and E will be so excited. My realtor told me I should tell E I'm getting her a play structure for Christmas...oh yeah, and there's a house that comes with it!
9. This is a 3 day work week for me. I took Thursday and Friday off and I am so glad I did. So much Christmas wrapping and cookie baking to do.
10. Next week is another 3 day week for me. I am so glad I took some time off. Normally I try to squeeze everything in and work too.

It is a beautiful name. All your girls have beautiful names. If I ever become un-one and done and have a girl, you can name her.
LOL! She would have a color middle name like my kids.
1. I shipped out my ornament today, and I'm unreasonably nervous about my person liking it.
2. I did a cookie exchange at work yesterday, bring in 7 dozen (6 for trading 1 for tasting) and take home 6 random dozen. I had oven issues and um...yeah, I'm pretty sure I made out on my end. I feel kinda bad for the people who got my cookies. :-
3. I can't wait to remodel our kitchen. we replaced our dishwasher and fridge already, but can't replace our oven or our cooktop until we do.
4. I'm ready for the holiday. I still have some gifts to wrap, but all my shopping is done and since I shipped my ornament today and cards went out last Friday I don't have to make any more trips to the post office, either.
5. I can't wait for Friday, I'm taking an extra day off for the holiday and won't have to be back at work until Tuesday morning!
6. I know I shouldn't be buying myself anything this time of year since you never know...but I did anyway.
7. we had a holiday breakfast tea, and there's an afternoon tea that I'm about to head up to. plus I got food when I ran to the post office at lunch. oh, and my coworker got me breakfast because I gave her a ride in on short notice. this day is not going to be good for my waistline. sigh.

(The freedom is a little intoxicating.
)
-- TSD

I want one!

Two Mommies Healing Hearts

2. DW and I were both raised catholic so when we went to the National Shrine the other day we lit a candle in the chapel of the immaculate conception praying for this to be the one.

BONE DRY bowls. Especially for white chocolate. My pastry chef friend gets his bowls out the night before, and lays them on top of the radiator to be bone dry. Smoothest, non-grainy bark.
10. I know. It scares me. And I want another.
If you end up stuck in Chicago--Call me! I miss our Chicago neighborhood, this time of year.
Yup--why don't you? I'm the same way.
1. I responded to 3 so many posts today. I'm a reply whore.
2. I thought I would get so much done today--my mom is watching pumpkin so I can job-hunt and work on my resume. Here I am
10. I'm going to watch a few youtube videos now.
Thank you! My Grandma's middle name is Adelaide and I wanted to honor her by naming one of my kids after her (she raised my brother, sister, and I for 2 years). I plan to use the nickname Addie as well.
Two Mommies Healing Hearts
LOL! She would have a color middle name like my kids.
Two Mommies Healing Hearts
7. we had a holiday breakfast tea, and there's an afternoon tea that I'm about to head up to. plus I got food when I ran to the post office at lunch. oh, and my coworker got me breakfast because I gave her a ride in on short notice. this day is not going to be good for my waistline. sigh.
8. nothing is good for my waistline right now, it seems.
9. I have not been shooting as often as I would like. I need to get back in the habit of taking my camera with me everywhere.
