LO (7.5 months) has been cranky for several days now. He is unusually cranky almost non-stop! We are often able to distract him but it only lasts a minute or two and then he's back to whining. He is refusing his bottle half the time even when it has been several hours since he's eaten. We know he's hungry but you can't make him eat. He just got his third tooth (on the top) and I can see another one up there that looks like it is coming soon. I'm not sure if the bottle rejection is related to teething or something else. I have tried every teething remedy known to mankind. Nothing works, not even advil/tylenol. He is also frustrated trying to learn to crawl because he can't go forward. He scoots backwards or gets on hands and knees and rocks. I'm sure that's not helping.
Any thoughts? Advice? Suggestions? Should I offer his formula in a sippy cup? Change nipples? (He's on the Avent level 3 now)
I should add -- there has been no fever, no ear pulling, etc. I don't think he's sick and I feel very silly taking a cranky baby to the doctor.
Re: Advice please!
Let the pedi look in the ears---- a couple times DS1 had an ear infection and he had no fever or other issues--just crankiness.

Notes:
funny...DS has been out of sorts lately. and he was pulling at his ears a bit last night. no fever but super cranky all the time. i may call the pedi as well!!
Thanks ladies! He actually ate 2 bottles since I wrote that post. I'll see how he does tonight and call the pedi if it doesn't continue to improve. Back to entertaining Mr. Cranky-pants!
