No exciting updates. I have an appt with the OB nurse tomorrow.

 QOTW: the greatest gift they've given me so far (besides immense joy and excitement) is no vomiting.  So thankful for that.  No holiday cravings, but I'm having regional food cravings!! Like last night, I really wanted Chicago mix popcorn, and before that it was Berger cookies from Baltimore.

We have our u/s on Thurs to find out the genders.  Am going crazy with nervousness and excitement!

No major updates for me.  I did notice yesterday that my belly looked lower which kind of freaks me out.  I don't think baby A technically "dropped" though because I don't feel any pressure or anything different, visually it just looks lower.  Hopefully it's just where he's sitting because these babies need to bake a while longer!

QOTW: The best gift was probably no morning sickness.  I never even felt nauseous so I feel very lucky for that!

My big update is that we found out we have one of each on Friday. And most importantly they were both healthy as can be.

I have been blessed with never getting m/s besides a little nausea. They have also let me complete my goal of running 1200 miles this year - which I did yesterday. 

No holiday cravings yet. I think I had my first real craving last week though, and it was a fountain Diet Coke. I got one and it was amaaaazzzzinnnng. I don't even drink pop! It was weird.

I wanna join! The best gift my twins have given me so far is no morning sickness and only a little nausea. They are awesome! I have an u/s tomorrow and I hope they're both still growing and healthy.

The best gift they've given us so far is that they continue to grow and thrive and look healthy as can be on the ultrasounds. We're mono/di, so I'm extra nervous about the chances of TTTS, so far so good.

Oh, and I'm so excited that my next ultrasound is right after Christmas and my mom will be here next week, so she can come to an ultrasound! She's seen pictures, but I think the real deal will be so much cooler for her!

No major updates. Had appointment last wed. and babies sounded good.

I'm hoping they will start to gift me the present of no more nausea all day long. Thank goodness for fountain coke/pepsi it does wonders! I'm just blessed to have these LO's, and hope all continues to go well.

Fetal survey this morning showed no new issues!!!  Based on the good results today, we won't be getting an amnio and our downs risk hasn't gone up any more than it did when they found an absent nasal bone a couple weeks ago. 

We have their sexes in envelopes.  Wonder how long we will be able to hold out on opening them. 

Their gift to us?  hahaha!! Between being told for 11 weeks that I would miscarry one of them, low amniotic fluid in one, and an absent nasal bone in the other, these kids have given me wrinkles already!  But today's scan was the best gift ever, two healthy looking babies!!!

Had a 23 wk appt with MFM and my cervix still looks good, growth scan at 25 weeks. Also had an OB appt, gained another 6lbs in 3 wks, so i'm up to 22 lbs as of 23 weeks. Baby A kept kicking the doppler which was interesting since I didn't know what those movements were. Feeling them kicking more but haven't really felt them whenever DH was around so he is anxiously waiting to get to feel them. 

Best gift to us, I didn't ever vomit just was nauseous so that was nice and I've had no cravings. The other nice gift is that I haven't had any real problems or complaints so far, which my doc is loving LOL.

No updates here yet - I see the MFM and OB tomorrow.

QOTW - best gift would have to be them growing so well and right with each other.  No evidence of TTTS and no other complications (pre-e, PIH, etc.). Just "normal" pg complaints - m/s, aches and pains, etc.

Can't believe I'm only 10 wks away from meeting them!

Too funny, last night I was telling myself all the things that I am grateful for.  

1) I still poop at least once a day.

2) No Stretch Marks....yet.

3) I can still sleep ok thanks to my awesome giant pillow.

4) And the most important, that these babies are healthy and growing and still staying put.

I had a growth scan on Friday and everything looks good. Baby A is measuring 5.3 pounds and Baby B is measuring 5.4 they are both head down and everything looks great. I hope to continue this way for another few weeks. They let me know they wouldn't have me go past 37 weeks. 

 The best gift is no morning sickness. I haven't really felt sick at all. In the past week I definitely have enough  stretch marks and PUPPPs is driving me crazy. I am so happy it is the holidays!! Have a great holiday everyone!

It's V DAY!!!  I am so excited about that.

I'm having quite a bit of menstral like cramping today so I've got a call into the doctor but I feel the babies moving all around so I'm not too worried about that.

 Best gift so far from the babies has been just when I start to worry about "no movement" I'll get kicked or punched and know everything is just fine.

Everything is better this week, just feeling large and in charge! Measuring 33 weeks, and the girls were 2.2lbs and 2.3lbs at the growth scan last week.

The girls have been really nice so far, no stretch marks yet, no first tri symptoms at all like morning sickness or heart burn, I can sleep most nights and only getting up to pee once. And they're staying put with no complications yet! I don't have too much I can complain about yet except not being able to stand too long. No holiday food cravings yet except sweets!

Just got back from the MFM and another growth check. My girls are measuring in the 98th%ile at 4.5 and 3.15 pounds! They are consistently measuring 2 weeks ahead, good fluid levels, etc. I am getting more optimistic with each passing week. I also had them do a cervix check and FFN because I have been having a TON of contractions and haven't been checked since 22 weeks. The cervix check showed that my cervix is still closed and "has some length"... she said it is great for this stage in the game. She didn't bother sending in the FFN since the cervix exam was good. I feel MUCH better about everything, as the contractions have really been stressing me out. Oh, and both babies are breech now which is kind of a bummer. I know they can still move but space is getting limited!

Compared to my singleton pregnancy, this whole thing has been a BREEZE (until the recent changes of being very uncomfortable, of course). Barely any m/s, not too much tiredness, etc. Really until the last 2 weeks or so, I've been feeling great.

We saw our cardiologist last week and found out our boy has a mild heart defect; bicuspid aortic valve. I'm really sad and feeling guilty because I have a heart condition and feel I've passed on my unlucky genes It's nothing like what I have though and hopefully won't require surgery.

I haven't gotten any stretch marks (knock on wood), never threw up, and am pretty much all belly. Every one says I'm tiny and can't believe I'm having twins. They are growing right on target though! I am craving some egg nog and deviled eggs. Probably not at the same time!

Updates: We're getting the fetal echo tomorrow, which should be fun/boring.  The boys are boppin' around like crazy!  We also found our new apartment, though I have random reservations about location (it's more suburban than urban so will take come getting used to).

 

I will see what to thank the boys for closer to the end  So far -- no stretchmarks and an easy pregnancy.  But little things get harder every day!

No big updates here.  Babies were on the small side as usual last week.  Both in the 30something percentile.  Cervix is getting shorter and shorter- at 2.7.  Next check is a week from tomorrow, and I'm wondering if I'll be going back to school (I'm a teacher) after break. I used to want to work through January, but I am getting really miserable.

Hi to all the MoM's!

We had an echo on the twins last week and it appears they both have some septal defects, but so far it doesn't seem like anything to panic over. Hoping it stays that way!

 So far the best gift they have given me is not tipping me into Pregnancy Induced Hypertension (yet?) or the severe problems that I had with my first. I'm pretty close to the point where I had to start on meds while pregnant with my singleton daughter so if I can keep going without meds for a while it would be AWESOME!

I see you already updated about our finding out we're having two girlies. We are still adjusting to the news that BabyB has spina bifida. Both girls' first names are chosen, Baby A is Etta and Baby B is Claire.

 

As for the best gift? I haven't puked once!

Only update is that I had and U/S last week at 31 weeks and both babies were looking good. Baby A was measuring at 3 pounds 9 ounces and Baby B was measuring at 3 pounds 14 ounces. B is still breach, and being bigger than A is making it look like a c section is more and more likely.  My next doctor appt. is on Wednesday just for NST monoriting and cervix check. Fingers crossed these girls stay put until atleast January and keep on growing!

Update: DH and I started Christmas vacation this week- it has been awesome! We got a ton of things done yesterday (like, *cough* finally pack our hospital bag?!?) AND I could eat and sleep and go to the bathroom whenever I wanted to. I feel like my belly is getting bigger every day. I can't stand or sit up for more than 15 minutes at a time without my feet and/or hands swelling up like crazy. I'm just hoping to continue to grow these babies as long as I can!

QOTW: The best gift they have given me is a relatively smooth pregnancy overall. I had no m/s, no other major complications. I just have to keep reminding myself of that now that I'm getting to the end and so uncomfortable....

We practically have a bakery in our house right now with all the Christmas cookies and pastries that people have given us. It's really dangerous! I'm trying to limit myself to 2 things a day. We'll see if I can keep that going.

I am brand new to this board...I have known we are expecting twins for a few weeks, but I am still so terrified of losing one. My EDD is July 27. I have my next ultrasound and RE appointment next week. If everything is ok, I think I will be released from the RE.

QOTW: Just being there...I am still in awe I am finally actually pregnant and with two nonetheless. I just pray that it continues and I don't wake up from this dream!
