Friday night - I don't remember.  At all.

Saturday - K needed to put some mileage on her car to reset a sensor so we drove out to the outlet stores in VT.  Doing so required putting a carseat in K's car which was an adventure on its own.  But we got to the outlets, spent too much money at Carter's (although mostly gifts for other children), wandered into a few other stores, and then went home.

Sunday - K stayed home with Jelly Bean so that I could do some Christmas shopping.  I managed to check a lot of things off my list but still feel like I have so much to do. I arrived home to a giddy toddler and a wife who had managed to wrap most of the Christmas presents.  After JB went to bed, K and I made some cookies for her office cookie exchange.

    Pretty typical weekend.

Friday I had a half day to get a jump start on my cake ball making for a work swap. Sprout and I had some good alone time together.

Saturday morning DW took the kids to a play place for an hour so i could continue working and cleaning at home. Around lunch time we got together with her side of the family to exchange hanukkah gifts.  We had a wonderful time, the kids were very well behaved despite no naps, and they were spoiled rotten - i cant believe the amount of gifts they got!! way more than santa is going to have room for on his sleigh Wink  When we went home the kids read books quietly in their rooms for down time then we spent the evening cleaning out the playroom (3 bins of toys marked for donation to make room for the new ones - holy crap the toys add up fast!!).

Sunday we had a lazy morning then i took the big kids for a target run while the baby napped.  Again they had fabulous behavior with no nap (hmm, we may be on to something...).  Also, I cant even tell you how amazing it was to go out with no diaper bag!!  30 minutes of book reading in their rooms then we all went to a children's museum to use up a groupon.  We took an extra long time getting home as we meandered through the streets looking for decorated houses.

Friday evening was the kids holiday performance. The ILs are in town, so I met them and L at the school. My normally quiet/polite child was the ham on stage, which cracked everyone up and made him do it more. Sigh. Went to dinner after.

Saturday - L took the kids to swimming lessons, ILs went to do errands, I went to do the shopping for the family the clinic is sponsoring. I bought $400 worth of clothes, toys, and homegoods at Target in 30m. Go me. Went home and wrapped most of what I bought. Kids took a nap and then ILs babysat for the first time and took them to dinner and a movie while L and I headed a holiday party. When we got home at 10:30, the kids were still up and playing. They didn't get to bed until after 11. <img class=" title="Crying" />

Sunday - Despite being up so late, the kids were up at 6:45. L made cakes for the kids' school and then we went to the mall so FIL and L could walk. Went to Cracker Barrel for late lunch and then walked around Annapolis for a bit to see the lights/decorations.

I spent most of the weekend on the couch, unsuccessfully trying to kill this cold and successfully finishing a cross-stitch Christmas present. I am thoroughly tired of TV and might throw something if I ever see another commercial for We Bought A Zoo Angry I also sliced my thumb open on Saturday night cutting an English muffin in half, which did not help with the crafting.

We did go to see Hugo yesterday afternoon. It was beautiful, charming and fun.

I didn't know there was a book on Hugo! I've got to go look it up soon!

My weekend was STRESSED! I'm trying to get ready for Little Bear and me to fly to California. We leave this afternoon for a week! Sigh! Fun crazy time ahead! But the best part of the weekend was watch Little Bear pick out 2 Christmas trees for our friends to cut. She even taught Little Bear how to carry it! It was wonderful!

The negative was all the crazy things to do before today! It felt triple time worst because DP hurt her right knee two weeks ago and she isn't doing much around the home. Almost got into a serious argument with her about it. Sigh! I'm getting tired of hearing about her pains and not seeing herself taking better care of her health. Sorry - I'm rambling!  I really needed to get that off my chest!

Anyway! Have a wonderful week - i'll be "bumping" from the Bay Area in California.

Mom to a wonderful kiddo. Wishing/Hoping for a second LO.

Ahhhhh. Restful.  Lots of time with my little snuggle bug and gift wrapping.

    Pretty average.

I took the girls to pick out Christmas gifts for J on Friday and got some gifts from me.  We rushed home to wrap the gifts before picking J up from work.

Saturday we went in search of a gift for J's secret santa, ended up at J's parents house, did a Target run, and went to see Christmas lights.

Sunday I spent the day trying to clean and do laundry, we went to J's store Christmas party in the evening where A and Iz decided to have attitude all night.  Oh, I almost forgot...  Owl fell on Sunday, hitting her face on the floor (her balance is awful) and swelling the entire left side of her face.  Most of the swelling has gone down but she looks lik she and the floor had a good fight.

Our weekend was great and exhausting! We are going to PA to spend Xmas with C's fam this year, so this weekend I decided to host Xmas here at our house for my family. So I had my mom/stepdad's side here for dinner on Saturday, and my dad/stepmom's side here on Sunday morning for brunch!

It was so much work (mostly because we did all handmade gifts this year), but so much fun!! Henry had a BLAST.  We also did his Xmas morning on Saturday to give him his gifts from us.  He is just at such a great age for Xmas! He was so excited and had so much fun.

Yesterday, he was having such a great time playing with his new toys that he wouldn't stop to eat, lol.

So now I'm onto the next project...packing for our PA trip, which begins on Thurs.

    Weekend went entirely too fast.

We had a monitoring appt on saturday morning and rode out to the CUA campus to explore my new school.  After that we hit up the grocery store for Xmas hosting so we can feed our hungry families.

Sunday was a super lazy day and we sat on the couch all day napping and watching the DVR...it was heaven!!!

Today was busy...another monitoring.  We are go for launch tomorrow and wednesday.  I have been doing fertility dances and singing grow little follies grow all day.  We have two very fat and happy follies...maybe the third time is the charm?!?

We had three BFN in the Fall of 2011. It is back on to some baby making come June. Swim little fellas, SWIM!!!!

Friday: We went to a holiday party at our friends' house. They are so much fun, and the group they generally invite to their home is great. A traffic mishap almost made us turn around, but I'm glad it didn't. It was nice to see them all.

Saturday: Christmas shopping. We got all of the gifts we needed for K's family. We had lunch out at our favorite neighborhood Asian place and came home for J's nap. We also got things organized in the house so K's sister and her family (my SIL, BIL and their three kids, who live in TN) could stay over Sat and Sun. They were driving up to MIL's and stopped in. They arrived at about 11, which meant a late night for all of us! :)

Sunday: We hosted all of K's sibs and their families (above mentioned SIL and family, other SIL + three nephews, and BIL and girlfriend) for a total of 14 people for brunch. In our small condo. Thank goodness for butterflygrooves' recipe! We exchanged gifts and had a really good time together. After folks left, our TN family went to Quincy Market for the late afternoon/evening, and K and I hung out with J. They all left for northern NY this morning. Smile

I am seriously not loving the part of my new job that makes it difficult to get on the bump during the day!!

This weekend Saturday we did the usual errands and cleaning and such, and in the evening we (finally) decorated the tree, and then snuggled onto the couch with hot cocoa and homemade marshmallows and xmas cookies to watch Love Actually.  <3.

Sunday we had crazy social day, starting with brunch at a friend's home, then the NYC Gay Men's Chorus holiday performance, then enjoyed some silly latkes and driedel in honor of an annual Chanukah tradition at another friend's home.  And I don't think we've been that social in one day, pretty much ever.

And now there are no more weekends until Christmas!  Agh!  We somehow have to be ready to leave for 11 days; I have no clue how this is all coming together!
