How often does your LO poop?

DS poops maybe once every three days, sometimes even longer...

Is this normal? I know it was normal a few months ago but now that he's eating solids, I've read they should have 1-2 bowel movements a day??

I'm wondering if maybe the solids are constipating him and it could be contributing to his fussiness.

I've heard that's normal, but my little guy poops almost every morning... often twice. And then in the evening sometimes, too. I've read that if they don't act uncomfortable then not to worry.

Our DS poops at least once a day, sometimes 3.

Are you still using rice cereal or oatmeal? That caused major constipation in our LO. Our pedi recommended an ounce of juice once a day to help him go. If you are concerned, def call your pedi and ask about the juice. HTH

DS poops every 3-4 days. He was EBF until about a week ago when we started solids and the pattern has stayed the same so far.

Ours dirties her diaper every morning without fail around 5 a.m. She generally has one (and sometimes 2) other dirty diapers throughout the day.

She did get really constipated one time, and I had to feed her pureed prunes twice to get her to have a bm.

Mine poops anywhere from 3 -5X a day. We talked to her pedi about whether or not to be concerned when she doesn't poop at all one day (something we dealt with when she was about a week old), and she said she has patients that only poop once a week or even less frequently (not newborns, my LO was around 2 months at this point). I made a joke about how much of a mess that must be, and she said "not as bad as you might think."
