Cherry Creek Family-Friendly Restaurants?

HI ladies!!! I'm a Colorado native now living in California. I'm getting together with several friends from college while in town visiting over the holidays and somehow ... the one who no longer lives in the area and hasn't in 7yrs is the one planning it.

 Do any of you have any suggestions for family-friendly restuarants in the Cherry Creek or South Metro Denver area? Ladies are driving from as far as Colo Sprgs and Boulder.

 A child-less, single, male friend who works in the area suggested Machete's and said Cherry Cricket is decent 'pub' food. I've been looking on UrbanSpoon.com but have only been able to get a small bit of info it seems. Any help or suggestions would help. Dinner is Fri Dec 30th around 5-6pm.

 Hope all you mama's are great and loving the beautiful winter that is upon you ... I will say that out here winter just never seems to appear and it makes me miss the snow ... the 3hr drive to 'snow' in Tahoe doesn't even come close.
