We really need a few new sets of sheets for our bed, but I never know where to go to get some that won't get all gross in a year or two, like pilling, not washing well, etc.
Anyone have any good recommendations???

TJ max and marshalls. They always have great sheets at good prices. You have to feel them in addition to looking at the thread count. I honestly look for the fatest package because that usually has the heaviest, longest lasting, and softest over time. Some of the really high thread counts now are not so great.
We get ours from Macy's. They will put them on sale 50% off and then I use the coupon that is always in the paper. Just make sure you get a good enough thread count!
I usually get us a nice set from Costco (or BBB, but Costco has the deal) as our Christmas present. I get the really high thread count (can't remember what) for about $80 for a set. We have four sets now and our original set is still as soft as ever. It's worth paying extra for the nice sheets.
You know, I just bought a pair of Martha Stewart sheets from Kmart, and I have to say, I really like them! Granted I haven't had them for a year, but after 3 washings, they have no pills at all, looking and feeling great.
Once you go Ralph Lauren Sateen you'll never go back! I am seriously spoiled by these sheets. I've never slept on any that are as comfortable and inviting!
Lands End! Even their cheapest sheets (that you can find on their overstock site) are great. And when we had a problem a year after we bought ours, they sent us new ones - they have a 100% guarantee. It is fabulous!
Land's End. That's practically all I buy any more.
They have elastic all the way around, the top sheets are a tad longer for tuck-in, and they wear like iron. I had a set of their flannel sheets that lasted at least 10 years.
