Anyone use a baby cakes maker?

I bought a baby cakes maker at Kohls and was going to make cake pops for my DD's teachers at daycare, planning to use boxed cake mix to make them.  I was just reading the instruction booklet and it gives recipes to make the batter from scratch.  Have you made cake pops with this maker using boxed mix (like betty crocker)?  Did they turn out ok?

  • Got the same one- did you do the $10 rebate and 20% off to end up paying just 1.99??  Great deal!

Anyway- just made them tonight for the first time and they were yummy!  We used Devil's food mix- moist supreme or something like that.  They were really good, though I want to figure out how to make them look nicer.  I was disappointed in their shape.  They ended up flat on one side because of cooling them.

  • I asked this before and ppl mentioned that box cake mix isn't thick enough and make more of a mess.
