My pedi's response to Zantac/preemies

She just got back to me after doing some research - she found the article that PP's pedi had seen on the AAP and read it to me. I was only one study done once - on preemies who were in the NICU (so young, and not at-home ages) and of the two groups of preemies the one taking Zantac had higher risk to that gastro whatever.

Anyway, it didn't sound like anything to base a lot on if you have an older prem (or even younger). Just call your pedi and get their thoughts if you feel uncomfy.

I'll probably be keeping DS on it until we ween him in a few months anyway.
