My Brest Friend Pillow

Hi Ladies,

I would like to know what the difference is between the Original and the Deluxe pillow other than the deluxe has a super soft fabric. I looked online and read that one of the pillows have velcro and the other doesn't. When I looked on the website, it looks like both have a buckle.

What's the difference between the Original and Deluxe? Which one is better?

Mine had the Velcro and was by far one of my most used baby items. I was never good at nursing with regular pillows or no support. After 2.5 years of use I can't rave enough about it.

I think mine is an "Original" and like Harper's Mom, I loved it. I don't know anything about the Deluxe, but can you look at them at a store? Buy Buy Baby has them. Or order them from Diapers.com to compare? They have a very generous return policy.

I think I have the deluxe. It has soft fabric, velcro, and a buckle. I love it and use it all the time.

I only have the original and it was a real improvement over the boppy for me (my LO liked to burrow into my belly and the firm Breastfriend helped reduce that. Plus I didn't need any other pillows underneath like I did with the Boppy.

Unfortunately I don't know if the deluxe is that much better.

The cover is the only difference.  I have an Original and a second Deluxe slipcover from my singleton...  I also have a Deluxe Twin Brest Friend.  The Deluxe cover is soft and fuzzy.  Deluxe has both Velcro and a buckle...  So you can get in (Velcro) and out (buckle) with just one hand.

i never used the velcro or buckle, i would just throw the skinny part behind my back and was able to push the bigger part up to my belly just fine for baby to lay on.  i found it more of a pain to buckle and unbuckle, and it worked well enough for me, so i would say it doesnt matter much!  but that's just my experience.

overall though, it was the single most useful baby item i had.  definitely recommended, i dont think you can go wrong with either version!

I have the deluxe and I love how soft it is. I also love that I can velcro and buckle it. Very convenient. I am actually using it right now while I NAK.
