White, hard, and kinda sharp!

Could it be a tooth?!  DD was gumming on my finger and I felt something hard and kinda sharp!  She won't let me look at it long enough to get a good look at it. Could it be something else?  I read some babies get pimples on their gums but I have never known a pimple to be hard and sharp!  I am so excited if it really is a tooth! She has been gumming a while now...and things have seemed to slow down a little. So...could it be?? What do ya'll think?

Sounds like a tooth to me! G got her first one this week, you can feel it but it is really hard to see. It has been a long time coming...

That's exactly how I found DS's first tooth! It was only about a week and a half ago when I was feeling something pointy but not seeing anything and now it's a definite tooth.

Haha awesome!  Yea you can't really tell it's there- you just see a white spot but it sure is hard!!

**lurking from 3-6**. When you say pimple, i think you are referring to epstein pearls. If you google it, you will see pics. It's some kind of cyst that looks and feels like a tooth, common in infants. My LO has a hard, sharp bump on his lower right gum. He also has many teething symptoms. However, because that isn't the common spot for a first tooth, I am guessing it might be one of those Epstein pearls. Where are you feeling this tooth?

That's a tooth!  That's exactly what my son's felt and looked like.  He just cut tooth #8! :-0

It sure is a tooth...sticking out more than ever! haha I'm excited for her because she has been working hard on it but it makes me sad because she is growing up so fast!
And tooth #8? WOW!
