We're officially on the wait list for donor eggs at our clinic. They estimate a 6-8 month wait. However, we're also going to check out another clinic in Feb. (waiting for insurance plan change). So, we might end up on two wait lists and keep dragging out this decision-making process - sigh.
But, for today, I'm happy that we took one tiny step forward.

Re: Small Update
This! And the wait might go more quickly than you think.

This!
Best of Luck!
Yay Congrats!
Please forgive the dumb question but I am wondering how the "waiting list" works. Do you have to wait til your number comes up or do you have to wait for a donor to select you?
Wait for your number to come up, then you get access to the donor pool.

ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive. Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)
DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!
Will your clinic allow you to use an outside donor to help speed up the process?
I have thought about this as well since all my research talked about the potential waiting lists at clinics.
Either way, I hope you find the perfect donor soon. GL as you move forward!
