Hi everyone!
Let me start of by saying that I had an amazing shower at work yesterday. I was blown away by how much thought and effort they had put into everything. And we got so many things!
So we only have a couple bigger items to purchase and we are good to to:)
One of them is the high chair. But I was wondering what your experience is with those. High chairs we are looking at are all $100+ but then I looked at the feeding seats that you just strap on to the regular chair and they are up to $50. So you can save quite a bit of $$, which if we can, would be nice to do.
But have any of you used/compared the two? Would you recommend one over the other and why. And in general which high chair or seat would you recommend?
TIA!

I'm glad to hear that. We got this one and I was hoping we made the right choice.
Edited: Oops. We got a different Fischer Price one but hopefully it is still good.

We have the kind that just straps to a regular chair. I honestly don't see why people buy the expensive ones that take up so much floor space! Like pp's have said, the space saver chairs are nice and compact, clean easily, you can take them to grandma and grandpa's house (or wherever). We love ours!

Ladies, thank you SO much for your input!
I think we will go with the feeding seat instead of the typical high chair. I think we were just used to seeing mostly high chairs that we just figured we'd go with one. But now that I started looking and after getting your feedback it makes perfect sense!
Thanks so much
We're going with the Graco Blossom 4 in 1 highchair (high chair that converts into a booster seat and is easy to clean). I thought about a feeding seat but our dining room chairs are upholstered (the dining set was given to us when my ILs moved) and cleaning food off the chairs is a nightmare. We also eat at the kitchen counter often and the high chair will allow LO to be with us there too as the feeding chair can't be strapped to a bar stool.
