What is the ONE thing you will get done today?

I liked this post from yesterday. And since I'm sitting here drinking my 2nd cup of coffee while I should be headed to Wegmans, I thought I'd motivate myself!

So what is ONE thing you need/want to get done today? (holiday related, or otherwise)

I want to get a picture of Evan in front of the tree so I can get our Christmas cards ordered! Walgreens has 25% off cards till tomorrow, so I need to order them today before we get on the road!

I've been trying to do it for over a week, and anytime I attempt he is either in a terrible mood, or it's super gloomy/dark out so I have no natural light.

Send out my Christmas cards. They are addressed and done, I just need to remember to take them to the post office!!

Mop the floors (Which is my second to least favorite house chore).  My first is scrubbing the shower, which I did yesterday

I have to get to the post office to pick up our mail-having no mailbox (still!) stinks-I havent gone in over a week so I can imagine the pile of mail we'll have to sort through later!

Hmmm...I guess mine will be cleaning the kitchen. Ours is a disaster right now!

Mine needed to be the same as Tina, but Chelsea was up half the night last night coughing and crying. She literally went to bed fine and within two hours was so sick. So we will be staying home today and maybe I can get out tomorrow by myself to get my ornament.

So today my goal is to clean the living/dining/kitchen area - it's open concept so I might as well do it all at once!

My shopping.  I took the day off so i could finish.  DH also took the day off which is fortunate for me since we now have a sick little babe that is spending the day at home.

I also need to clean!

I absolutely will get our bags packed for my mom's TONIGHT instead of waiting until the morning to do it and then getting annoyed that it takes me an hour and a half to get out of the house.

I have to make a menu for the next two weeks, and a shopping list. Dh's daughter arrives tomorrow and I don't want to stress about what to make for dinner every night! I also have to get her room ready. We only have one extra bedroom and it is an all purpose room....and will be the nursery next summer! It needs help!

I will get my Christmas cards and ornament mailed today. I made myself do the Christmas cards last night, and now they're sitting in my car ready to go. No more excuses! There's a post office right by Ian's daycare, so I'll head there before picking him up this afternoon. Hopefully the line won't be too outrageous.

J's speech eval was this morning so I was running around cleaning this morning and last night so the house is vacuumed, mopped, couch covers are cleaned so there's less of that fun stuff to do! 

I do want to sit down and work on a grocery list/meal plan for next week.  Our meals have been very boring this week.  Also need to go through the 24 month clothes and see what we've got to work with.  Call the chiropractor.  Try to wrap some presents and see what else I need to get.
