in Babies: 6 - 9 Months

I'm lurking from 3-6 months. FTM here - my DD has everything she needs right now, I'm wondering though if there are any items, toys, play things or neccessities you could recommend for your LO's age group. What does your LO use the most? Or you use for them? Is it any different than the 3-6 mo phase?

I want to get her some Christmas gifts (yes, I know she won't remember) but I love Christmas and can't imagine not getting her anything.

    Teethers...lots of teethers! Stacking cups, shape sorters, books, a lovey or two, and an exersaucer or jumper if you don't have one already

    Yes, teethers are great!  Also if LO is sitting up, we have the V-tech sit to stand walker and G loves it!

    my LO is 8 months yesterday and I am wishing that Santa (aka Grandma who lives in a town that actually has walmarts/targets) will get her a table activity center that she can use to pull herself up and play on!  Good Luck!

    Ditto the teethers, stacking cups and shape sorters.

    We also got DS an activity table which has been a HUGE hit since he learned to pull up. The legs come off so it sits on the floor for a LO who isn't pulling to standing yet.

    ETA: A friend gave us this ball popper recently, and DS loves it, he giggles and gets all sort of excited everytime we turn it on!

    DS is in love with bowls.

    The "O" toy is good - easy to grab and it rattles.

    DS also really likes teether toys that he can move around - links and such.

    I would add blocks, stacking rings, sensory balls, and rattles to the list.

    All of the above plus sippy cups, sophie (theether), My LO likes small things that light up and make noise.

    Ours *loves* these blocks. In a pile of toys, she'll gravitate to them and loves the sounds they make as well as their colors and the feel of them.

    Definately Sophie (teether), don't know what I would've done without her.  My DS just loves her and will sit and chew on her for a long time.

    Jumperoo.  He loves his jumperoo, plus it gives mommy some down time too!!
