tonight.
I took Dande's advice and slowed down my pace. Did 4 minute interval at level 4. Then did 2 minutes of walking, 2 minutes of running, 2 minutes of walking, 3 minutes of running, 2 minutes of walking, 3 minutes of running, 2 minutes of walking. Back on the elliptical for a 5 minutes cool down (I did the elliptical for 10 minutes before getting on the treadmill).
I am sweating BUCKETS right now.
My left shin still feels like it's going to pop through the skin while I'm running but other than that, I feel GGGRRREEAAATTTT!!!!!!!!!!!
(I hope these posts are as motivating as they are annoying!)
Re: Running update - did a 4 minute interval
Awesome! I was a gluttonous moron in Boston this weekend, and have to get back into my routine tomorrow.
I paged you earlier, but never checked back...did you get some new, good shoes?
bug -- that might be it. I'm *almost* flat footed. But I know that I walk different with my right foot than I do with my left. One day I went walking after it rained (roads were still wet) and the back of my right pant leg got SOAKED (from my foot kicking up the water). The back of my left pant leg --- completely dry. I can't figure out WHAT I'm doing differently though! ARGH!
Co --- I didn't eat all that healthy over the weekend. However since I'm no longer a fat girl (HA!) and knew that we were going to a Chinese food buffet (hello, can you say FAT GIRL!) for dinner on Saturday night for Joe's gram's birthday dinner (her choice), I worked out like a mad woman before leaving. Worked out, took a shower, hopped in the truck and was eating within 60 minutes of stopping the workout --- so I'm hoping I was still burning some calories off! <--- the fact that I'm even thinking about that is HUGE!
I didn't get new shoes. They were closed on Sunday! BEAT! But I'm going to either go Friday or Saturday this week --- so by the end of this week, I'll have some new kicks! YAY!
Thanks girls!
I'm doing it at home.
We've had the treadmill (which, btw, is STILL dusty from sitting for the last 3+ years!) --- Joe bought me an elliptical a couple of weeks ago.
