Pap guidelines

So, i keep hearing that the pap guidelines have changed, does anyone know anything about this?? i believe i was due in november, just been hectic at work and such, and then started hearing this... jw

I don't think it is a real recent change, but most things now say it is okay to go 3 years between pap smears IF you've never had an abnormal pap. You should still go in annually for a pelvic and breast exam, but the pap smear may not be necessary.
