I haven't posted on this board in quite some time, but I was hoping you ladies could help me out....wasn't sure where else to post it.
I have PCOS and have never had regular cycles and have not ovulated on my own in the past. Both pregnancies were the result of clomid. I got my first PP AF in July right after DD turned 1 and I surprisingly got pregnant in Sept but had a m/c. Since the m/c my cycles have "regulated" and have been between 42-45 days.
So, for my silly question...if your cycle appears to be 42-45 days consistently...does that mean you are ovulating on your own?
thanks ladies!

Unfortunately it doesn't necessarily mean you are ovulating. The best way to know is to either chart or use OPKs (or both). Do you have fertile cervical fluids at all during the month? Perhaps if that occurs at a consistent time, start OPKs and/or charting a few days before that and continue until you have a clear temperature shift (sustained for 3+ days). I realize these things are not always as clear with PCOS, but asside from being monitored by labs & ultrasound, its your best shot in knowing.
Good luck!
