She literally just finished up the antibiotics for MRSA yesterday. We spent tonight in the ER because she now has pneumonia.
She's so much stronger than me. She's still able to laugh and smile throughout all this, while I'm trying to keep from having a complete breakdown as I sit and listen to her cough and cough and cough.
I wish I could understand why my baby has had to have such a hard road during her seven years of life. It's just not fair.
Re: DD is very sick. Again.
Oh no!! That poor girl just cannot catch a break with this crap. Or life in general.
I can't give you answers there, but I too am continually amazed at how strong children are in the face of sickness/adversity/etc. Miles was in the hospital at 10 months when he had his first set of tubes put in and adenoids removed and you wouldn't know it. He's sitting there flirting with the nurses and playing in his bed with a big ol' IV sticking out of his foot and a sore throat from hell.
I hope she feels better soon. *hugs*

My DS had pneumonia in August, the coughing is awful. Sending good thoughts and prayers to both of you. ((hugs))
PS- It may help her sleep if you prop her into an almost sitting position with pillows. Running the shower with hot water and the door closed with her sitting in the bathroom will also help with the cough.
That's just not right. I'm so sorry and I really hope she feels better soon.
