OK, Miles, you win

Ugh. I know toddlers are notoriously picky, but this is getting ridiculous. The kid won't eat hardly anything these days, even foods he used to love.

Tonight I got some applesauce and pancakes in him. That's it. Oh and milk.

But I mean come ON. He won't take a vitamin either, so I have to squirt those NASTY ass infant vitamins down his throat every morning.

I am just wallowing a bit. Anyone care to join me?

  • Right there with ya!  My DS eats chicken nuggets, peanut butter toast/bagels, nutragrain bars, yogurt, and that's about it!  He won't take vitamins either.  I bought gummy ones and tried to hide them in fruit snacks!  Forget it, he knows the difference!  My pedi claims he will come around!  I'm not so sure!  Crying

  • I totally get it.  The twins are beyond picky, and will try a new food maybe once every 3-4 months.

It drives me BSC. Thank God for yogurt, applesauce, apples and pancakes.

  • Ethan went through that too...drove DH and I crazy.  We tried everything to encourage him to eat, but nothing worked.  Eventually he came around, but not until he was 3.5-4.

When he was Miles' age I resorted to the Pediasure-type milk drinks just to get some calories and protein in him.  It was expensive, but even though my kid would take a vitamin, I worried about his protein intake.
