throwing a surprise party for DH

I am throwing a surprise party for DH this Saturday!  His actual b-day is on Sunday so hopefully he won't suspect a thing.  I invited his family and friends and we are going to have a pot luck get together.  So guests will bring a dish instead of a gift and I will have costco cake and alcohol of course.  I actually was completely lost in the alchohol section at Costco and had to enlist the help of some experienced socializers who told me that everyone loves Budlight and Margaritas, so I trusted them Stick out tongue

So I told DH that our friends are coming over on Saturday night for a "quiet" dinner and to play board games (which is one of his fave activities) but first he will be treated to a spa treatment.  So I am hoping that I timed everything right.  The treatment will be approx an hour (3:15-4:30) everyone will arrive at 4:00p and so he should be home around 4:45pm.  Do you think that is enough time?  Is it too much time?

 I am super excited!

    That is so nice of you!!  My husband threw me a surprise party too one year - mostly friends, but it was very low key and nice.  We had a lot of fun!  I hope it goes well - and definitely post to let us know if he was surprised!
