Babies: 6 - 9 Months

7 months and still no AF?

Is this normal? Should I be nervous?

Re: 7 months and still no AF?

  • AF hasn't returned to me yet and DD is almost 7 months. I think EBF is why she has stayed away so long.

  • No AF here either. I'm just appreciating it while it lasts.

  • Holy huge picture batman!

It's super cute but could you size it down? Wow.

    ETA: Thank you.

Ha, it was only that big for about a minute. You snuck in there just in time!

  • EBF for 8 months = no AF... at least, that's how it's working out for me.

  • Just hit 7 mos of BF, added solids at 6 mos, but LO is nursing just as often and still no AF here.  I had a mini internal celebration back in October when I realized I'd been without her for a year! :)

  • lucky bi*#@...haha just kidding!!

i just stared mine this morning...very heavy! i'm now 7.5 months pp.

i figure it's a good thing because now i have a few months to get my cycle in order before we start trying again for the second one! scary!!!!!!!!!

i wouldn't be too concerned...are you still BF? if not just be careful cause you ovulate before you have AF! so you never really know

  • My LO will be 9 months tomorrow and still no period. But, I am also on the depo shot so my OBGYN said I most likely won't get one. I'll take that, I love not having it! It's been a year and a half since I've had mine. Yes

  • I am 7 months PP tomorrow and no sign of AF yet either. I am thrilled. I am kind of hoping it stays away at least until I am 1 year PP.

  • None for me yet either. I am still BFing and we bedshare, which apparently helps helps keep it away longer.

  • No AF for me and I am soooooo thrilled about it! Nothing to worry about if you BF. Some women don't have it at all until they quite BFing.

  • MsJosie, we have the same Christmas dress! Can I ask how much your LO weighs and how long she is? My LO is just turning 6 months, but she's a big girl and I'm really hoping she'll fit into the 12M size!
