So I ordered a Michael Kors down jacket ($130) from there. Turns out there is a small slit in the front and feathers are coming out. Didn't LOVE it anyway (but def liked it) so submitted a return and chose damaged in transit. They emailed me, apologizing profusely, refunded me promptly and said hold on to for 10 biz days, carrier may want to come inspect. If no one shows up just discard the merchandise!
I emailed back saying I wasn't home during the week and asked if carrier (UPS) would call first. They wrote back saying most likely not and that if 10 days pass and they keep missing me to again, dispose of the merchandise.
There is no way I am going to get to keep this jacket for free is there? Seems a little crazy to me!
Re: Anyone ever do a damage return to Overstock - seems too good to be true!
