Agave instead of honey?

The answer to this might be obvious, but is agave all right for wee ones since it isn't made from pollen? Has anyone used it personally?

Agave nectar is okay in infants! My son didn't have it til about 12 months, but it is fine in younger babies too since it doesn't contain botulism.

When DD had a swallow study, I noticed they put Agave in the barium that she had to drink. This was months ago, so I'm sure if a medical professional used it, it should be fine. I haven't used it since. It didn't seem to bother DD. She actually really liked it.
