How do I clean my Graco high chair??!!!

First of all, I'm hopping over a week before my son turns 1...hope no one minds!

 Second of all, I HATE my Graco high chair...it's one of the ones with the vinyl and fabric covers. I doubt the cover comes off, but I am hoping there is something I am missing and that it does! The only way I'm going to be able to get this thing clean is to have it soak in the wash machine and then machine wash it. It is so disgusting and I can never get in all of the crevices to get it clean! The only reason I am cleaning it is so I can get rid of it. I really don't want to donate it somewhere as dirty as it is! I plan to go out and get a chair booster to strap him into at the table like I have for my DD.

Anyway, any tips you can give are much appreciated!!!

hmmm, the cover comes off my Graco as well.  I only have it for visiting kids but I have taken it off to clean before.

Are you SURE the cover doesn't come off? That seems strange - mine does and it goes in the wash (air dry though).

Ditto everyone else - my Graco highchair has a removable, machine washable, air dry cover. It always comes clean, no stains after 13 months of daily use. Check the tag on your chair's cover, or the owners manual, it will have washing instructions.

The cover does not come out from underneath the safety bar. It is secured underneath the sides...I can un-snap it in several areas but cannot get it out of that area.

My graco high chair has a cover that snaps off and I throw it in the washer.

I have to ask.... How did you put it together? I have a graco too but I have never even had to take it off, soapy water scrubs everything off of it! The cover fits over the crotch bar though, it isn't attached to the bar the tray sits on.
