I've been reading a lot lately about couples getting their first BFP after using Preseed for only a month or so - has anyone NOT had such success with it? I was thinking of buying some today, if it makes any difference at all...
I didn't have success with it but then again I didn't know that I was dealing with infertility at the time. But I know several ladies who didn't have success with it their first cycle. It's more of a replacement for sperm killing lube instead of something that enhances your chances.

Preseed is not a fertility aid, it is only a sperm-friendly lube. If you didn't need to use lube before, then there's no need to use Preseed at all. We've been using it for several months and still haven't gotten pregnant, but that doesn't mean it wasn't "successful." To me, success with Preseed means that it doesn't kill sperm, not getting a BFP.

I've been using Preseed for 3 months and no luck yet.......it only helps if you aren't lubricated enough for comfort....that's all.

Like PP said pre-seed won't help you get pregnant, it's just a lube that doesn't kill or harm sperm. We started using it 2 or 3 months ago externally and I'm not KU yet, but I will still use it as a replacement for other lube/saliva.

We've been in need of lube. Maybe it's the stress of TTC, but I haven't been getting enough lubrication when it counts. *sigh* :-(
Its a sperm friendly lube, nothing more nothing less. If you need a lube for sex it's better than using KY or the like. We used it for about 8 cycles before getting PG with DD.

I know what you mean... I have the same problem. In that case, then yes, I think you should use Preseed. Other lubes and saliva kill sperm, so your chances of getting KU with them are much lower.

I got a BFP the first cycle we used it, but of course we were on our honeymoon and relaxed so it might have been a nice conicidence.

How do we know that *all* other lubes kill sperm?? Has someone actually tested all these lubes to find that out? Just curious where that info came from. I read it a lot, but if you're not using a ton of it, does a regular lube actually make a difference? I'm sure plenty of people get pregnant without knowing about preseed. Not trying to be devils advocate, just wondering if anybody knows anything about the preseed claims.
This was our first month TTC and we decided to start off with Preseed. Honestly, we didn't like it. It seemed to make DH last longer (which we are a fast couple lol) and it also seemed to make me dry up faster?? I don't know. We will continue to try it, since it is the only "sperm friendly" lube, I hope it gets better.
