It shouldn't. I also have an anterior placenta and the only issue is that my LO is facing it instead of my back, which is not uncommon with anterior placentas. The sunny-side up position makes any labor and delivery more difficult, so I am doing the things recommended on spinning-babies.com to get him to turn around.
Good luck.

I have one. My midwives want a look at it again around 30 weeks to ensure it is far away enough from the scar. Since it is implanted on the front of the uterus and the scarves on the front it is by default, if I understand, closer to the scar. The techs didn't give them the shot of it they wanted at my A/S so now I'm stuck waiting.
I had an anterior placenta with my VBAC. My midwives didn't seem worried about it. The biggest issue they said would be positioning and it's more likely to have a posterior baby.
DS2 came out facing the side. He even had a huge bump on the side of his head from his funny angle... but I still managed to push him out. No idea if that was from the anterior placenta or if he was just in there funny for no reason or what.
The major concern is with the placenta attaching to the c/s scar tissue. This can be problematic. Another big concern is if you did end up needing a c/s, the incision would have to go through your placenta first. So hemorrhaging is definitely going to happen.
FWIW, my placenta was anterior and low from weeks 12-26. They kept doing u/s every 3-4 weeks to watch it's upward progression. By week 30 my placenta was at the very to of my uterus and nowhere near where my c/s scar was located. I had a successful VBAC at 41w2d. HTH!
