All of the shirts I bought for winter somehow got packed so when I got to Pa, I had to go buy a couple new shirts. Well, I knew we were TTC so I POAS before shopping because if it was positive then I wasn't going to waste my money buying regular shirts and just buy a couple early maternity shirts. The stick was negative, I bought fitted shirts, and now they look like crap because the bottom part of my stomach is getting bigger and harder but I still have a roll of disgusting fat on top of it so I just look fat and not pregnant. Now I have nothing to wear and I woke up today looking about 6 months pregnant with a fat roll on top of a baby belly. Ugh!! Hopefully my MIL follows through with what she says and give me money for some maternity clothes for Christmas because NOTHING fits!
Thank you for listening. I would offer you a cookie but I know that's frowned upon here
Re: Mini Vent
I remember that feeling, when I just looked fat. I wanted to tell everyone in public, "I'M PREGNANT!!! I'm really not this fat!!" lol
Hoopefully your MIL comes through!
LOL, that is an awesome idea!!
Ha! Thanks! I do it all the time and I'm not even pregnant!
I can probably start doing that soon! Thanks for reminding me! I can still button my jeans since they're low rise and unbuttoning doesn't make my belly look any different. I also bought a pair of maternity jeans for the days I'm super bloated but I couldn't find them today either. I just spend like $60 on 3 shirts that I feel comfortable in (long sleeve but light weight so I can wear them in the early spring still) and a long black undershirt. I went to the doctor today and I lost 2 pounds so at least it's all uterus pushing out!
I hated that feeling! I bet you could get one of those Halloween shirts with the skeleton baby in belly for real cheap right now
Then everyone would know you were definitely pregnant, weird.. .but pregnant :P
My real advice would be to invest in the old belly band. I always wore those over my whole tummy in early pregnancy to fight the lumpy fat look.
