Babies: 6 - 9 Months

White socks!!!

All I want for Christmas is for Robeez to make white socks!! For the love of God why is that so much to ask!? They are the only socks that stay on my DD's little wiggly feet and all I want is to be able to buy a 3 or 10 (or 50!!!) pack of plain white ones. Instead I just spent $30 on three 3-packs of socks in which I will get 6 pink pairs that I don't really want in order to get 3 white ones that I do want!

That is all.

Re: White socks!!!

  • I get socks for both my guys at Sears - go to the boys section, it's all white socks over there! I buy  the toddler size for ds#2 - they stay on (the "baby socks" are awful with falling down!).

Do you know what brand they are? I have had no luck whatsoever with any socks other than the Robeez. The Gymboree ones that fold over with the little ruffle are OK (at best) so they are a distant 2nd place to the Robeez. I can't tell you how many lone-soldier socks we have because she kicks or pulls one off and tosses it, then I get home to realize we are one sock down.

Can't find the exact type I buy, but they look like this (the ones that I buy have the grippers on the bottom):

  • I also use a size or two up in socks.  They come most of the way up to his knee so they stay on.  I'm glad I figured it out in time for winter.  The ones that actually fit properly fall off or he can easily take them off.
  • The best socks I have found for both of my girls is the Faded Glory brand at Wal-mart. I also like the Gymboree socks.

  • I love the Old Navy thick socks, and also the Baby Gap socks.  Buying 1-2 sizes up works great, especially to cover his little legs when his jeans creep up.  BUT -- I will also say that I don't remember the last day that LO didn't have a pair of Robeez shoes on.  We put them on first thing in the morning and he wears them all day, naps and all.  His socks stay on, his feet stay warm and he looks super cute.

  • Old Navy, Baby Gap, Childrens Place all are awesome

Also like Osh Kosh BGosh ones
