Teething = Refusing Solids?

We started DS on solids the day before Thanksgiving--one meal a day every day since. He loved it. We gave him rice cereal and green beans. This week, he's not excited about solids and is pretty much refusing the rice cereal, green beans, and the newly added broccoli. His teething has seemed to intensify, so I'm thinking that the two are related. I guess I just want comformation that other peoples' LOs weren't into solids while teething, and if I can expect him to refuse solids until that first tooth appears (which makes me nervous, since I have no idea when that'll be).

yup. D went pretty much back to 100% nursing for awhile.

DS is refusing solids too.  I never thought the two could be related.  Thanks for the post!

Sounds like us...did you keep trying solids every day or give up until he cut his first tooth?

Same here... DD seems to prefer nursing during periods of heavy teething. When I first noticed it, a quick Google search confirmed for me that the shift was normal.
