I've been a little scratchy the last couple days but thankfully the rain is getting it to settle down a bit. I think it is just the inevitable build up of pollen in the trees getting ready to explode next month. ::shootmenow::
yes! Cedar is an allergen that really likes moisture so all this wetness is making it thrive. Plus this year has just been a crazy allergen year all over the country. I work for an allergy lab and we are currently dealing with patients up north that are still miserable even after the snow cover!
I've been treating my congestion like it's from cedar. A couple years ago my doc told me that cedar tends to explode after the first freeze of the winter season. If he was right, then it's about the right time.
I was just watching kvue and they said they anticipate cedar season starting sometime next week. I haven't felt anything yet. Neither has my hubby who gets it real bad.
I've already felt it. I thought it was mold (I didn't look up the counts or anything). Uhg. Just what my body doesn't need! Another source of inflammation.
I even have a nosebleed =( Scratchy Throat. Yucky. Yucky.
I hate taking meds though so I'm going to just tough it out this year.
