I cannot catch a break (CD related)

I have been trying to buy gently used GMD fitteds for weeks. I always get so close, and then something goes wrong or I am a second too late.

1. I found a great deal by someone on the CD board, and emailed right away, but she listed her email wrong, so she sold them to someone else who posted in the thread after me.

2. I was bidding on some on Ebay and someone came in at the last second and outbid me by a dollar.

3. I found some on diaperswappers this morning and emailed, but someone contacted her minutes before me.

GAH!!!! I just want to buy some freaking diapers!

Hi there...I'm sure you've tried Crai.gs L.ist too; but that is where I've had all of my luck obtaining my CDs thus far.

And I was able to meet up with the person and actually look (and touch) the CDs before paying for them.  Granted, they were used...but they didn't look it or feel it; they looked/felt like the brand new FuzziBunz I ordered online.

GL!!  Hope you get the dipes you want.

What a bummer Library! At least you can use them later on, right?

And yeah, I've checked out CL, too. Nothing on there except for the occasional prefold, which I already have. I should really just bite the bullet and buy new.

Kawaii is having a pretty good sale right now (granted they are pockets), so I'm ordering mine today....

I haven't found good deals on used.

There are several cloth diaper swap groups on Facebook, you might have luck finding something there.

The one I am in (Cloth Diaper Swap) hasn't come up with anything. In fact it's a running joke that everyone wants them! Do you have better groups for me to look into?

That's the main one I was thinking of. Bummer!  Hopefully something pops up soon.

 Have you checked diaperpin.com?  They have a swap board.

That's why I decided to just bite the bullet and buy new.  I plan to use my CDs for multiple babies in the future.  Plus I have a nice stash to pass on to someone some day as a gift, perhaps to my brother if he ever gets married and has children.

Namara- the funny thing is- I won't save that much by buying used. I am just worried about prep!
