I think we're doing a pork roast with pears and sweet potatoes. You basically roast it all together and then make a quick sauce with pan drippings and hard cider.
Christmas Eve: Prime rib, bacon wrapped scallops, garlic parm roasted red potatoes, rolls, eggnog
Christmas Day: Stuffed cornish game hens, bacon wrapped green beans, red garlic mashed potatoes. We always make our punch (cranberry juice, lemon lime soda and scoop of green sherbert)

what time is dinner on Christmas Eve? Put me down for 2 adults and 2 toddlers who barely eat
Christmas Eve: We usually order pizza. I like to have extra time to bake cookies for Santa and relaxing with the girls and any family staying with us.
Christmas Day: We always have ham, hash brown casserole, carrots, and crescent rolls. I'd like to come up with maybe a more interesting veggie this year. And I'm hoping to make the rolls from scratch this time, instead of using Pillsbury. I'd honestly love to have a beef tenderloin or something other than ham, but DH loves ham and it's the only time all year I cook it.
We are doing a beef tenderloin roast and I'm going to make a mushroom and red wine sauce to go with. Not sure what else my mom has planned... I might make scalloped potatoes too. We'll probably do a veggie and or salad too.
We do a big breakfast (pancakes, eggs, bacon) and then just appetizers for the rest of the day. Around 2 I start setting out cheese and crackers, chips and dip/salsa, ham roll-ups and as the day goes on I'll add mini pizzas, hot dogs in crescent rolls and anything else I come up with. It's very casual and we just graze all day long!

We did this last year....delicious! This year we will most likely do Jumbo Shrimp Scampi with a strawberry/orange poppyseed dressing.
