write thank you to OBGYN?

Did you write a thank you to your OBGYN after birth?  Esp. if they helped you if you had trouble ttc?

I sent a thank you card and a Mrs. Field's cookie basket.  My OB went above and beyond to help me have the best possible repeat c section and recovery.

I sent a card and a copy of the birth announcement. My doc bent over backwards to give me as close to my desired birth as possible. Throughout the pregnancy she made me feel like I was her only patient - very attentive, patient and thorough.

I did.  I had a difficult labor though.

Absolutely.  When I went in for my PP checkup I took her and the midwives who stayed by my side the whole itme thank-you notes and boxes of chocolate.  My mom also got my OB a neclace and earrings since she noticed she wears large jewlery even while working.

But then again my OB was incredible, stayed by my side 7 hours, stretched me out for hours so I wouldn't tear or need an episiotomy, and massaged my feet while I was in the tub.  So I feel my OB went above and beyond.  Even if she had just been pretty good I probably would have written a thank-you note, but I really felt passionately about it as she was so incredible.
