has a new way of  expressing excitement/happiness: squicking and screaming. Then he gets excited that he can do this, and he is doing it again, and again, ...It was fun and cute at the beginning, but now it started to hurt my brain. Especially in the mornings when he wakes up and is very talkative, like this morning for example! Man that is a lot of screaming I wonder if he will get a sore throat. His mom will definitely get a sore brain though.

And they do not stop until they turn 18 and leave the house.  JK    Better buy some ear plugs because until they can communicate better you get what noises they can make.

We're going through the same thing. Unfortunately she likes to practice her new vocal skills at random times in the middle of the night... She has a party in her crib all by herself, and believe me, it's much more annoying when you're trying to sleep!

We're fortunate (so far) - Baby Louie is GROWLING!!  it sounds like he's going to hurt his throat he does it so long and so low...but it cracks me up every single time!  Hopefully you get some ear rest soon!

Yeah, it was quite an unpleasant surprise when DS started practicing his LOUD voice.  It's amazing that someone so small can be so loud!

My son was a screamer as well. Lasted till he was probably close to 3 I think. lol.. have fun

My baby does this to which was funny at first. He also does this thing we're he's like screaming and nothing is barely coming out.  He cracks his self up everytime.  We went to a restaurant and he decided that was the best place to do it and had everyone laughing.  Babies R the best...
