Amazon Prime - SHipping question

Hi there,

So I have been signed up for Amazon mom getting the "prime" shipping stuff and now my benefits are coming to an end.  I know i can pay 79 bucks for it for the year but i dont' know if i want to do that yet.  So here is my question, can you still get the diapers shipped for free to you? (just not the 2-day shipping) or how does that work.  and If anyone has figured out a way to extend this benefit please weigh in and help me out!

    You can buy things from the baby section that qualify to extend your prime membership (it tells you at the top of an item description) or you might be able to try to have someone else in your household sign up too. I think that if your prime membership ends you have to spend $25 to get free shipping on some things.

    Not 100% sure, but the subscribe and save diapers don't ship with prime's free 2-day anyway. (You'll want to double check, but I remember it that way.) I can't recall if it was a $$ thing or they just didn't come 2-day, but I think you'll be okay if the only thing you buy is diapers. (But if you buy diapers once a month, you should qualify for the extensions.)

    Yep, I did that for a year already and they said that was all they would extend it....bust!

    I just re-upped my Prime in October (my 12 months was up also) and am still getting free shipping on the S&S stuff. Take away Prime, you take away free shipping.

    The diapers should still ship for free, just not 2-day. But you could always sign up with a new e-mail address and get more free months. I just think they're not accepting any more Amazon Mom members until after the holidays.

    I heard they stopped because of this reason. People signing up with multiple email addresses to the same home address. ??? who knows.

    And good know about the free ship with $25+ and that it stays on S&S. When mine ran out, I checked and it was charging me a ton for shipping so I reupped the Prime. Maybe they changed something since then?

    All subscribe and saves ship for free whether you have amazon prime or not.
