This morning I was feeding LO and DH was smiling at him. LO smiled back and got my nipple with his razor sharp fangs and clamped down as he was laughing at DH. I'm glad he was happy but jeez that hurt!

Eeeek, I know the feeling!!  I always get mad at DH when he makes a loud noise or distracts M while she's nursing because she startles which often results in teeth clamping down on nipple.  Now that she has bottom AND top teeth, it's a dangerous situation!

My nipple hurts for you right now! K raked her fingernails across my boob last night and I was ready to cry....but that's nothing compared to any pain dealingw ith the nipple!

Yeah, she got her bottom teeth before she was even 4 months old, so she's learned not to bite now, but every so often it happens.  Now that she has a top tooth (with another on its way), it's just a little more scary for me!

I feel your pain, DS has 4 teeth (2 top and 2 bottom) and bit me the other day, it even bled.  He has to be nursed in a quiet area or he gets so distracted.  I will tell him ouch if he does clamp down.  He looks up at me with a smile.  Hard to be mad with that cute face looking at me.
